The first ever annual Scottish Para-Football Gala fundraising video
Scottish Para-Football
This film was originally created for Scottish Para Football’s first annual gala ball — an evening designed to celebrate the players, share their stories and raise vital funding for the programme.
The full piece featured eight players from across different formats of para football, including Powerchair, Cerebral Palsy, Amputee and Walking Football. Each spoke about what the game means to them and how being part of Scottish Para Football has shaped their lives.
Para football doesn’t receive the level of financial support many might expect. On the night, the film played an important role in helping the audience understand that reality — not through statistics, but through personal stories. It was about giving players the space to speak in their own words and allowing those in the room to connect with the impact of the programme on a human level.
The version shared here is a shortened excerpt from the original gala film, capturing the tone and intention of the piece while offering a glimpse into the stories that were shared on the night.
