Frodin Flies – Experience Day

This film was shot during a Frodin Flies experience day on the River Tweed at Tweedswood, capturing an amazing day of fishing, conversation and time on the water.

The owner was there guiding the day, introducing a range of rods, reels, lines and flies, and sharing his knowledge with those taking part.

It was a really enjoyable one to film. Just being out on the river in that kind of setting, observing rather than directing, and letting the day unfold naturally. The conditions were typical for that time of year — grey, quiet, and atmospheric — which suited the tone of the film perfectly. It’s a simple piece, but one that captures the feel of the day and the detail behind the craft.
